HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR COSMETIC TATTOO

  • NO alcohol or caffeine 48 hours before the appointment.

  • Do not wax or tweeze your brows for a week before the appointment. 

  • Do not take aspirin, niacin, vitamin E or Advil/ibuprofen 48 hours before appointment. 

  • Discontinue use of Retin-A, Retinol, Tretinoin  or any other exfoliating products for at least two weeks before. 

  • Botox and filler on the forehead, temple and eye area should be avoided 2-4 weeks before appointment. 

You cannot receive permanent makeup if you 

  • Are pregnant or nursing

  • Are under the age of 18

  • Have been on Accutane within the last year. 

  • Have skin irritations or psoriasis near the treated area.  ( Acne, rashes, sunburn, etc.)

  • viral infections and or diseases 

  • Diabetic 

  • Epilepsy 

  • Taking antibiotics 

  • History of MRSA

  • Currently getting cancer treatments ( must wait 2 months post treatment) 


If you are under the care of a doctor for any condition it is highly recommended to speak with them and get written approval for permanent makeup.

PERMANENT MAKEUP AFTERCARE

For the first hour, after the appointment, blot the brows with tissue every 5-10 mins. Within a few hours after the appointment wash the brows with the soap provided in the aftercare bag. 

 * wash your hands first, with a tiny bit of soap and water (outside of the shower) wash gently in the direction of the hair strokes, just a light swipe to help remove excess oil, oozing, etc. Rinse thoroughly, cup hands with water and rinse to make sure all of the soap is removed. Pat dry with a clean paper towel. Let them breathe for a few min then apply a very small rice size amount to the brows. 

Wash and apply balm morning and night for 10 days. 

Do not get your brows wet, other than washing them, for 10 days. This includes showers, sweating, sauna, hot tubs, any open body of water, oceans, lakes, rivers, ETC.

No direct sunlight for 2 weeks.

No makeup, facewash, lotions, serums on the brows for two weeks. After they are healed avoid using any active ingredients on them.
